Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for the Communication and Business Sector at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said the festival reflects ongoing efforts to support local agriculture and highlight practical solutions that help improve mango production.

He explained that the festival is not just an exhibition but a mix of agricultural and commercial activity aimed at supporting farmers in the Eastern Region and raising the profile of local produce.

According to Al Shamsi, it also contributes to strengthening Khor Fakkan ’s position as both an agricultural hub and an emerging tourism destination.

Speaking to Al Shamsi noted that this year’s programme includes a range of competitions, most notably awards for the best agricultural produce and the popular mango "Mazayna".

Alongside the competitions, visitors are also being introduced to modern farming techniques and solutions designed to improve crop quality and boost productivity.
