Zoom, the UAE-based retail chain affiliated with the ENOC Group, has begun offering products from the Sharjah Agriculture and Livestock Production EST (Ektifa) at its branches across the Emirate of Sharjah and select service stations in Dubai. Plans are also in place to expand availability across all ENOC service stations.
This initiative comes as part of a strategic partnership aimed at delivering fresh products to customers, in line with "Ektifa's" policy of expanding into new retail outlets to meet the growing local demand for its organic offerings, which have become increasingly sought after.
Launch Event at Al Houma Branch
The announcement was made during a launch event held by Zoom at its Al Houma branch in Sharjah, introducing Ektifa's organic products. The event was attended by His Excellency Dr Eng Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji, Chairman of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock and Chairman of the Sharjah Agriculture and Livestock Production EST (Ektifa), along with Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director of the ENOC Retail, and several department heads from both parties.
Strategic Expansion and Marketing Support
Dr Eng Khalifa Musabah Al Tunaiji stated: "The strategic partnership with Zoom is built upon its extensive marketing and operational expertise in the retail sector, as Ektifa continues to expand its strategic alliances. This partnership supports our efforts in providing the best marketing solutions for both our current and future organic product lines."
He added: "We are pleased to collaborate with Zoom, one of the leading national brands in the retail market with a strong local presence. This partnership opens new retail outlets across the UAE, contributing to the growth of national projects that enhance food security and achieve self-sufficiency."
ENOC’s Role in Supporting Retail Innovation
For his part, Zaid Alqufaidi, Managing Director of the ENOC Retail, said: "At ENOC, we take pride in playing a leading role in strengthening the retail sector in the UAE through our strategic partnerships. Our collaboration with Ektifa provides a unique platform to showcase products from Maliha Dairy Farm, addressing our customers' growing demand for premium, high-quality products."
He continued: "Through this partnership, we will offer tangible, sustainable, and innovative solutions, including the introduction of the Meliha Dairy Farm product line—part of Ektifa—at Zoom stores, specifically designed to enhance our customers’ experience and ensure easy access to these products."
